About the Author Bob Oedy is a construction organizing expert with years of experience recruiting members and contractors into the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He is a union evangelist, a labor activist, and an advocate for workers everywhere. He graduated from the George Meany Center/National Labor College with a bachelor’s degree in labor studies in 2001.
